As Delivered

Our project car is a beautiful Verdoro Green 1967 Firebird 400.  The car is equipped with its original 400/400 drive train (83,000 miles), 3.23 limited slip rear end, deluxe interior, air conditioning, power steering, tilt wheel, power brakes with Corvette style disc brakes up front and 14" Rally II wheels with Redline tires.  The car was cosmetically restored in the early 90s.

Modifications

With some great support from our contributing sponsors Project GreenBird has been completed and unleashed upon the road.  The modifications listed below turned an old bird in slippers into a canyon carving beast.

	Suspension Hotchkis Performance – Sway Bars front & rear, Front Coil Springs and Rear Leaf Springs.
	Tires & Wheels American Racing – 16 x 8 Torq-Thrust II w/ BFG Comp TA Radials.
	Engine Pacific Performance Racing (San Pedro) – 455 cu. in. engine assembly. Pacific Performance Racing - Tomahawk Intake SD Performance –Street Package 4X 240+ Heads with Ferrea valves and Comp 995 springs. Comp Cams XE274 camshaft. BOP Viton Rear Main Seal
	Exhaust System Performance Years – Pypes 3” mandrel bent exhaust system. Doug’s Headers – D-port ceramic coated 4-tube headers.

	Front Disc Brake upgrade Stainless Steel Brakes Corporation Force 10 calipers and plated rotors.
	Transmission Hubbe's Performance TH400 rebuild.

On these T/A Radials the Greenbird ran a 12.94 ET at 112 MPH. The 60 foot time
was a 2.26 having to walk it out on the street tires.
