2000 Holden Commodore HSV GTS-R

The "very" car that inspired Bob Lutz to seek from Holden (GM's Australian car maker) a car for U.S. buyers—the '04 Pontiac GTO. Featured in Automobile and Car and Driver magazines this very car was also put into the hands of Jay Leno for testing. The car features a 402 horsepower LS1 engine developed by Callaway Cars for the Holden Special Vehicles operation down under. Brought into the U.S. by Jim Wangers for testing by his then owned company, Automotive Marketing Consultants Incorporated, this car delivers 0 to60 mph in 5.3 seconds, 0 to 100 mph in 12.0 seconds and a standing quarter-mile in 13.7 seconds at 107.9 mph. Ready for its return to Australia, this car cannot be licensed for use in the U.S. but can be placed in your private collection.
