1969 GTO Judge One of the first 500 built, this Judge was part of Pontiac’s Dealer Racing program. In its rebuild, Jim chose his favorite traditional Pontiac engine, a 440 cid, which is simply an original 428 bored .060 over. It has a close ratio 4-speed Muncie with a 3:90:1 Safe-T-Track rear-end. Many photos of this jewel can be seen in Dave Newhardt’s book “GTO”, shot on its home ground, Detroit’s famed Woodward Ave. A real Woodward "street" racer that will remind you of just how much run it was "cruisin' the streets" back in 1969. This is really what "The Judge" was and is all about. When you are out there parading around in an orange car with "pop-art" stripes you better be able to defend yourself! This Judge allows you to say, "Don't laugh at me, cause I'll blow your doors off!" There’s a lot of that action still in this Judge waiting to be enjoyed! This one’s a real “driver”.
